_ [仕事] New Project / RAPID

We had kick off meeting of RPID ( Radio technologies for 5G using Advanced Photonic Infrastructure for Dense user environments ) which was joint research project founded by EU and NICT today. This is my first research work after having a Ph.D. degree .

The project team consists of 11 organizations from Japan, Germany, England, Israel and Nederland. All of team members are researchers of University, Institutes and Private major company except me. Only I am the participant from the individual small private company. Therefore I am proud that I can join in such a project very much.

In a meeting of today, I am happy to express my idea for the improving the initial actions of this project.The my idea is not depending on particular technology, it is a simple logical thinking method that I learned by past standardization activity.

Of course practical technology and implementation are important for the goal, but also the management for the consensus is required in this kind of joint work.

I am really happy to join this project and I am expecting to get enough achievement at the end of this project.

　　キックオフミーティング終了後一旦ホテルに荷物を置きにもどって、夕方は日本側メンバーで会食。とりあえず、定番的なLeonで、ムール貝とビール。その後、これまた当たり前のごとく、ベルギービールの豊富なカフェへ。メンバーの１人がワッフルを食べるというので、まだ開いていたワッフル屋へいったら、見本の倍はありそうな量のトッピングにビックリ。あまりの甘さに、再びビールをというのことで、小便少女の路地のパブで仕上げの一杯を飲んで解散し、地下鉄で宿にもどった。
